Place thawed milkfish on a microwave-safe plate.
Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.

Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat (350°F).
Deep-fry thawed milkfish with skin side up for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Flip fish and cook for 1-2 minutes.
